Working group 2

Working Group 2 focusses on refining and developing digital approaches to acquire and treat digital evidence maximising quality and quantity of information. The group is also committed to provide best practice guidelines for application of such digital imaging protocols and technologies” (“Digital Strand”) individually and in a multi-modal approach. Since 2017 the group has been focussing mainly on facial recognition publishing 3 peer reviewed papers. It is now seeking to investigate multi-modality with the potential inclusion of other types of evidence. Expertise includes computer vision, neural network, machine and deep learning amongst other.
